For my Design Factors and Human Perceptions class in college, we were asked to re-design Medtronic's Cardiology website. This was my first involvement with UX/UI design, and is when I realized this would be a part of my future career. The process for this project involved creating personas, site-mapping, creating wireframes, prototyping, and putting our site through many design critiques. We made our site unique for the user, where they could customize the background color, therefore customizing their experience with the site. The visuals in the slideshow above show the 'black background' version of the website. Our websites were tested in usability labs where we had multiple users complete tasks and provide feedback. My group's website ranked number one as 'most feasible and usable'.
